Hopi Water Serpant Bracelet

This great and unusual bracelet takes a lot of credit to a very dear customer from Italy, who came up with the idea, to make a custom order for a waterserpant design. At the Hopi Show of the Museum of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, we asked around at the Hopi silversmiths but nobody was familiar with that design. The Museum staff was very helpfull and copied us the design from a book. Weaver Selina from Second Mesa saw it and it reminded him of the pottery designs from one Hopi Village, Walpi, at First Mesa. He agreed to make this custom order and had it ready for the Prescott Indian art Market, where it got a big recognition from customers and Indian artists as well. So we decided to let him work on a second, little different, bracelet witrh this seldom seen design. It came out fantastic.
