Kee Joe Benally Buckle

Kee Joe Benally was a top prize-winning Navajo contemporary jeweler. He used only the finest natural stones and materials. He was influenced by Kenneth Begay but could work in many different styles. He served his people as President of the Lupton Chapter of the Navajo Tribal Government.
He passed away in July but was seen at his work bench just a few days before.
This buckle is one of his elegant pieces with an outstanding piece of coral.
